Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AI Supplement Planner ("we," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your personal information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Health Profile Data: Age range, sex, health goals, dietary preferences, lifestyle information, current medications, and known allergies. You provide this information during onboarding and can update it at any time.
• Supplement Tracking Data: Records of which supplements you log as taken, timestamps, and streak history.
• Chat Messages: Messages you send to the AI chat assistant and the responses generated.
• Account Data: Email address and authentication credentials used to create and manage your account.
• Usage Data: App interaction analytics such as screens viewed, features used, and crash reports. This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your health profile.

We do NOT collect precise location data, contact lists, browsing history, or financial information (payments are processed entirely by Apple).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate personalized supplement plans based on your health profile
• To check potential interactions between supplements and medications you have listed
• To provide AI-powered responses to your supplement questions
• To track your daily supplement intake and display your progress
• To send you optional reminders about your supplement schedule
• To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Anthropic (Claude API): Your health profile data and chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate supplement plans and chat responses. Anthropic processes this data under their data usage policy and does not use API inputs for model training. See: anthropic.com/privacy
• Supabase: Your account data, health profile, supplement logs, and chat history are stored securely in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security enabled. See: supabase.com/privacy
• Apple (App Store & Push Notifications): Payment processing and push notification delivery are handled by Apple.
• Sentry (optional): Crash reports and performance monitoring. No health data is included in crash reports.

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We do NOT share your health data with advertisers.

4. Data Retention

• Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• If you delete your account, all personal data — including your health profile, supplement logs, and chat history — will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
• Anonymized, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Export: Download your data in a portable format from within the App (Settings > Export My Data).
• Correction: Update or correct your health profile at any time in the App.
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account), or request deletion by contacting us.
• Withdraw Consent: Stop using the App at any time. You may also disable optional data processing (e.g., reminders, analytics) in Settings.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level database security, and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

AI Supplement Planner is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account and data will be promptly deleted.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
